The Midwest division is located in North Kansas City, Missouri. Kansas City and barbecue are always mentioned in the same sentence. They also share the same appeal -- well seasoned, mouthwatering and zesty. Known as the City of Fountains, the community has more fountains than any other city but Rome. Approximately 1.8 million residents live in the Kansas City metropolitan area which includes cities in both Missouri and Kansas.
Once a gateway for pioneers heading west to Oregon and California, it later served as a crossroads for American trade with the arrival of the railroad. Still today, Kansas City remains a strong geographic area in transportation, including air, trucking and rail hub.
